Metadata template

I tried to use the latest version with custom template option for metadata, however when I update the TXT file under template with custom items, I still get the default delivered template as output. Any reason why Radio Boss can't reed the metadata.txt file after this is updated? I've tried to restart the sw and also computer - still the default items in the output - even the origin has changed.

After editing the nowplaying.txt file, please also set the "Template" option in Reports, Nowplaying export.

This is also what I did. And even the editied file is in the template folder, If I choose Template under reports - it is still the default text from the former nowplaying.txt. So each time I need to double check, the nowplaying.txt has the new templates - but when I choose template from the reports, I still get the old template delivered with RadioBoss.

I'm not sure why it doesn't work. Have tried here, after editing the "nowplaying.txt" file in the Templates folder, and setting the nowplaying export format to "Template", the generated nowplaying file properly uses the format from the template file.

I found the problem: It looks like this is a folder access right issue because I found the file under appdata / roaming. I am using Win 10 / 11..

However I can't get %artist, %title and other title form variables to work in the text template, but they do work in the Print reports.

We can't reproduce this issue here, so at this point, it can't bi fixed. We'll add diagnostics for it, so it'll show an error if e.g. it can't read the template file, and why.
