Open Settings->Microphone/Line.In and configure the MIC Button settings.
If this USB interface is compatible with ASIO you should select "ASIO", select your device and proper channels.
If not, select WASAPI and in the Device list you should see inputs like Mic, Line 1, Line 2 and so on. Select the one where you have microphone connected.

i did that it worked for a few times but then stopped...it was working with waspi and i still can see wave like it recorded but when i hit play it was playing like alvin and sometimes the line would not move to let play roll to voice recording...thanks

It can "stop working" if you changed the default device in Windows or added/removed a sound device from your PC.
Newer version (4.9) takes this into account.

Check Settings->Microphone and make sure correct devices are selected. You can also post a screenshot of a Settings window, maybe I'll be able to tell you what's wrong there.

thanks the mic is low but its working now...let me ask you listeners said they couldn't hear me im going live talking over outro and intro of songs (waspi) all i have to do is push the mic button and hold it down while i'm talking...it works when voice tracking but not when live i can hear me in headphones?????

When you don't have MIC button pressed, do you hear yourself in the speakers?

Mic will be included in the stream if MIC button is configured correctly (I suppose it is as Voice Tracking works). You can listen to your own stream and see if microphone presents there.

Another thing, on microphone settings you can try unchecking the "Disable local echo" option. It doesn't work correctly on some systems...

when mic button is not pressed i do hear my voice in headphones and local echo has never been enabled?  what are your thoughts??

It means that you have microphone monitoring turned on in your sound card and, I suppose, MIC setup in RadioBOSS is incorrect. Please show screenshots on how you have things set up.

As you use Mixer I suppose you need to broadcast mixer output? If so, RadioBOSS 4.9 (currently under development) has source selection for broadcasting encoders.

i emailed you the pictures of my settings can you check to see if you got them having mic issues and device setting issues im using an alesis multi 6 mixer it worked to let me be live but i have settings wrong....let me know id you got screen shots

E-mails received but they didn't have anything attached.
You can click Reply here and attach files. That always works.

Regarding mixers in general. Probably you don't need to use the MIC button at all... Just turn on/off microphone using mixer. And use RadioCaster (or RadioBOSS) to send the final mix to broadcasting server.

will get you those screen shots  what did you mean by final mix to get show live with mic no voice tracking just playing music and talking over intro and outro of songs??  i had it working before a little delay but was live...?

One of the possible usage scenarios is to not use RadioBOSS's MIC button and use microphone connected to the mixer instead. Then you connect mixer out to one of the PC inputs and broadcast it.

If you want to record voice tracks you'll need to setup MIC button though. This is easy - open Settings->Microphone/Line.IN and select the Microphone device...
