Microphone question

Hello,

I bought RadioBOSS because I'm a moderator Flatcast radio.

RadioBOSS works very well.

But I have a problem ...
The microphone is always open ..

I need to send a 'Stereo Mix (SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio' section.

I have also tried with an external sound card (Asus Xonar DS - ASIO)
The same result ... an open microphone

What else can I do?

Hello,

I'm not sure what "microphone always open" means. Does it reads the signal from Microphone input instead of the selected Stereo Mix? Please post a screenshot of the Microphone/Line.In settings window.

When I play music, that's not microphone mute
People listen to music and my voice

I can turn off the Micro on headset, but that makes a loud crackling

When RadioBOSS is not running, is the microphone muted?

All settings are fine. It looks like a feature like "microphone monitoring" is turned on somewhere in the sound card's settings.

I use now my OnBoard-Soundcard

I think the Problem is since Vista / Windows7
with Windows XP - no Problem (with the Tool - VoiceSwitch)
but VoiceSwitch works not with Vista/Windows 7

Microphone monitoring is either enabled in sound card's settings (some sound cards have their own control panel), or you have "Listen to this device" turned on in Windows, please see the picture attached.

i have no control panel for my OnBoard card..
"Listen to this device" is off

another question ..
When I start RadioBoss, I've got this error message
(please see the picture attached.)

But RadioBOSS works without problems
except the Microphone problem ;-)

Maybe the software you mentioned - VoiceSwitch - makes microphone to be always turned on?

The error message probably appears because your sound card doesn't allow using 2 inputs simultaneously, if you don't use line.in it you can turn it off: select "DirectSound" and don't select the device in Microphone/Line.In settings.

VoiceSwitch is a solution for Microphone...turned on / off
(for Winamp or other external player)
But the development is stopped and it works only with Windows XP
