Playlist Generator Pro Help

I just recently upgraded to the lastest version of RadioBOSS which includes the "Pro" version of the playlist generator. I've been using the regular playlist generator for sometime and I know how it operates quite well. Howeer, I cannot figure out how to generate playlists using Pro that include jingles. I like the added features like "Don't repeat artist.." etc. but what good is it if you can't add things like jingles and such like you can with the regular generator. The user manual doesn't describe anything about how to use it. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

The Playlist Generator PRO uses differend method of composing playlists.
For example, to add jingle after every 2 songs, you should create 2 categories:
1) "Music". Length = 2 tracks
2) "Jingle". Length = 1 track.
Then you add those categories to "Playlist structure" ("Music", then "Jingle").
Below you set the total desired playlist length.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

There is no documentation for the new playlist generator because it's still Beta.

Thanks! That works very well! Now I'm able to structure my playlist as I want it with jingles and commercials; however, there's another problem. When I create a log for an entire day (24 hour log), because I can only specify number of tracks between music and commercials and not actually the amount of playlist time, the hour structure will get out of sync as the log progresses throughout the day. Is there a command that I can schedule to tell the system to skip any left over music and proceed to the beggining of the next hour to keep things on time? I know you can ask the pro generator to generate based on time vs. number of tracks, but that would only be music and not music with jingles.

Is the only way to keep the commercials and everything running on time is to schedule them with the scheduler rather than putting them within the playlist structure?

Thanks for your help!!

Yes, it's much better and reliable to schedule commercials and hour announcements using scheduler. Playlist generator is better to be used to fill "background" playlist: music, rotations, jingles, etc.
We also plan to create a media-planning program which will create blocks of commercials and insert them to scheduler automatically... But I don't know when (and even if) it will be ready in the near future :)
