Playlist using genre

I am after some suggestions in how I could create a playlist using the genre? I use music brainz to tag my files and add genre etc then I use monkeymedia to sort them into directories using the genre as a directory name and thats one way I do it but is there a simpler way? What I mean is I add all my songs to the library then can I select songs based on the genre?

As I type this I  though of maybe creating a library for each genre

You can use the Playlist Generator Pro - create several categories (one for each genre) and as you have songs already sorted in folders, just set the corresponding folder as a track source for a category. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
