Pre-sales question : Can RB pause and continue playing of a file ?

Hello,

A pre-sales question here...

During the evenings, our radio station plays long audio talks - upto an hour long. We need advert breaks whereby we pause the current recording, play the advert(s), and then resume the recording from the pause point.

Is there anyway of achieving this in RB ? I couldnt see any pause options in the scheduling environment..

Hello,

Yes, it could be done in the Event settings.
1) Check the "Overlay playback" option
2) Then check the "Pause the playlist while event is playing"
Please see the picture attached.

It should do exactly what you need.
