Hi Guys, your software is very good, but there are little things that can be put better, I am an application developer engineer and radio host for 27 years in both tasks. I just want to contribute to making your software even better and more stable
It does not "save on exit" it saves immediately after you do anything there. Nothing will be lost if it crashes.
I understand that this convenience is not convenient, if I do something by mistake it will be saved without having the possibility of turning. This is really not good. better place the save button as in the XML version
It will be a very complex task e.g. to undo tag changes for a group of files it'd have to store a copy of the old version of the tags and then restore it in case you decide to undo. This will slow the operation 2-3 times.
I understand this, therefore to avoid saving unwanted changes, put the save button. It is very bad when you make a mistake and when you realize it is already saved, and without being able to go back
Can you please provide some details what file format is it and do you save a genre for one file or for a group of files?
the format is mp3. it does this for a single file and in groups. for example .. a truck that has its genre (ballad), you put it in the comment column, it saves the comment but the genre column is empty. In this case I have discovered that it does this when I edit the tags by right click Track tool ... if I do it by right click Track Properties it does it well.
What is wrong? Please note that when you sort by title it also sorts by artist.
It is wrong that I take into account the artist if I order by title, I can have a song by several artists and how this one does not help me to see that
Can you please make a screenshot of how it looks?
I saw that this happens when filtering by gender, but I think it is due to the error of presenting that field in white when it really is not
It could be because they usa a different field to store the genre. Please send one of the tracks with such a problem to
support@djsoft.net we'll test it here.
I use MP3tag. You can put a genre to a truck with this software, then you open it with the music library, you write something in the comment column. and you will see how it eliminates the gender ... you open it again with MP3tag and it looks good.
Is it actually incorrect or just "slow"? The speed is limited by the capabilities of your CPU. It also uses all the cores available, so a multi core CPU will speed things up a lot.
I think they use the same method or function to modify the tags, and everything is damaged
For what purpose this can be used?
I have a merengue genre library, some are Christmas themes, I can't move them to the CHRISTMAS library. I have to DELETE THEM FROM THE merengue LIBRARY, then go to the CHRISTMAS bookstore and add them.
Problems with new music library in version 6.0.4
- No save button, always save when exiting, not all the time it is advisable to save if something is wrong, there is no option to undo
- You should have undo changes
- Music genre changes do not save them, Places them all blank
- Does not sort correctly by column title
- Does not filter correctly by column genre musical, presents some blank when you have text in the filter field.
- There are data from Genre that shows them blank, if you edit them with other software they have data
- The Process Tracks option does not work correctly, it takes too long calculating BPM, And delete the genres of the tags
- You should have the option to move from one library to another just as moving from one folder to another
Is very coarse This new version with database should repair and verify well that module
Better prefer it xml version
