Some custom RadioBOSS styles.

To install a style:

1. Open RadioBOSS

2. In the menu, click Settings->Open Settings Folder

3. Copy the provided ".rbstyle" file to the Styles folder.

Great skin However Dark Skin is very heavy. It takes a second for all the elements of the interface to appear when maximizing and minimizing. When dragging the search engine there are some tabs in the place where the songs for a second. It's a shame because they are compiler problems. For now what works best is the Windows interface by default. We hope that in the future it will be much more fluid.

Custom skins are more CPU intensive than native Windows UI, that's no doubt. But they should perform well on any modern PCs as our tests show. Even low-end two core laptop CPU handles it well enough (if it doesn't run any other heavy tasks of course).

I observed this also since 2 years on my machines. Also now on my Intel i7.

vkPASSIONorange - An ambient dark style with orange accents, big countdown and IBM Plex Sans* font powered style. for RadioBOSS.

Requirements:

• RadioBOSS 5.8 and above (works maybe with older versions, but you have to try yourself)
• IBM Plex Sans* font family (see attached files)
• 2 minutes time

Getting started:

• Download IBM Plex Sans* font family from attachments
• Extract the font family
• Select all, right click and install (administrator privileges needed)
• Download "vkPASSIONorange.rbstyle" from attachments
• Open explorer and type %appdata% in address bar
• navigate to: djsoft.net\RadioBOSS_#########\Style
• Copy "vkPASSIONorange.rbstyle" into this folder
• Start RadioBOSS, navigate to style settings and choose "vkPASSIONorange"

You select the UI theme to set the general look and then adjust specific colors to make it look like you need.

You can create your own themes by adjusting the options in the Style section: https://manual.djsoft.net/radioboss/en/viewstyle_settings.htm
Select the base theme that's closer to what you need and then make the adjustments. The new theme can be saved as a preset. In this topic users posted their own themes, you can use them too.
