Hi, I have figured out HOW to easily and FREE way to use RadioBoss to control an online TV station in Twitch or YT or other platforms.
1. You will need Radio Boss, with free video plugin installed. You will need a second monitor (easier) and a "dummy hdmi plug" (cheap) to make this process even easier an this will give you a RB scheduling screen on one monitor and OBS playback on the other screen... So very good.
2. You will need a copy of OBS (open source broadcast software) FREE GO TO: https://obsproject.com/download
3. Configure RadioBoss Scheduler normally. Times/Files.....all of it. We will come back to RB later.
4. Install OBS software...(free) SETTINGS: Choose what platform you will be using YouTube, Twitch or many others. Upon OBS install you can choose which platform and stream you will be using and OBS will configure it all for you. Open the main OBS Screen you will need to set SOURCES. *** Set this to: GAME CAPTURE. Properties for Game Capture are: Mode: Capture specific window, Window: I have mine set to the DUMMY HDMI dongle. So you will not see it anywhere but on the PLAYBACK window on Right of OBS set to STUDIO MODE.

What we are doing is sending RadioBoss programming audi and video to OBS in order to stream out TV to YouTube, Twitch and many other platforms. (Your Choice I use TWITCH as it is free and will broadcast 48 hours then have to be reset to beging another 48 hours)
IN RadioBoss make sure the Video Settings > Options > Video, are set as follows: (Check) Enable video playback support; (Check) Display the video when the video playback begins; (Check) Show video in full screen on the monitor (this is where OBS will get the video to stream) and choose the Monitor that your HDMI DONGLE is set to in Windows. NOTE: you do not NEED this less than $10 dongle on Amazon, but it will make things easier and more professional for you. You will see what RB is playing and what OBS is sending out on the OBS PROGRAM as you will have a PREVIEW SCENE AND a PROGRAM SCENE screen which is in the right window in <STUDIO Mode> Use Studio mode to make things easier for you. This setting is in the lower RIGHT corner of OBS.

Here is the basics of what we are doing..... Program RadioBoss like you would for a scheduled radio broadcast using all elements of the scheduler if you like. Times/Days/ everything RB will control it. REMEMBER your files for TV will NEED be .MP4 and NOT MP3 as in Radio only broadcast. RB will play the videos in a separate window that YOU will choose (FULL SCREEN) OBS will then capture the FULL SCREEN output of RB mp4 into it's software in the Preview Scene window. You can make changes add text, additional pictures, web cam capture boxes to display OVER the top of the video playing. So many ways to make your broadcast better. The LEFT window in OBS is where you can preview and modify what you will send to the right window for broadcast in OBS. In the CENTER area top of OBS you will see some controls. USE THE TRANSITION buttoon to take the Preview Scene into the Program: Scene window.....if you clicked Start: Streaming your video/audio in the Right Window of OBS will be streaming to your YT, Twitch or what ever account you set OBS to. IF you DO NOT have a second monitor with the HDMI Dongle you will have to dedicate one of your 2 monitors to just playback and lose the ability to easily access RB and control your new TV station. THIS RADIOBOSS TV SYSTEM IS WORKING NOW....nothing else you have to buy to actually get RB to Control a TV signal output. I think this is FANTASTIC. Special thanks to Dmitry Kuzmitsky for RadioBoss. I have used ALL of the other options for broadcasting that is out there. For RADIO Broadcasting, RADIOBOSS is the best and NOW for online TV RB gets the job done as well.
Users of RadioBoss should quickly be able to configure this.....the secret setting was the GAME CAPTURE in OBS. And everything came together after that. There are numerous other TWEAKS you can do with OBS. I am not a gamer so I knew nothing about the gaming community or settings for what they do.
THIS IS A QUICK n EASY, INFORMATIVE WAY TO GET BOTH ONLINE RADIO and ONLINE TV WITH YOUR CURRENT RADIOBOSS LICENSE. I will publish additional details on this later.

NOTE: In RadioBoss NO BROADCASTING Enabling required, no ShoutCast or ICECAST or any other encoder service is needed, as OBS does that for ya, so NO additional expenses for radio rebroadcast services.....All you MUST do is activate aka IN RADIOBOSS TURN ON the Scheduler and (ENABLE) playback of your .mp4 files. OBS will pick up the VIDEO and put it into the OBS Preview window on the left, and then you hit TRANSITION to move the preview window into the LIVE WINDOW (PROGRAM) on the right is what you are sending out to the masses.

Suggested that you get a YouTube or Twitch or other video sharing account PRIOR to installing OBS...... I use Twitch because it is FREE and has little censorship. When you initially install OBS, it will ask you to set it up, let it do that and OBS will automatically be configured for your new TV station immediately. And if you already have .mp4 files in your Scheduler OBS will Preview it in the LEFT PREVIEW window and the Right Window should be empty UNTIL you hit the transition key in between the 2 windows and this will push what you have in the left window to the right (ON AIR) Program window.

Enhancements: OBS Left side PREVIEW, you can add TEXT, Pictures/Graphics, very easily. Below the "Sources" Window hit the "+" key to ADD.... Choose TEXT....it will allow you to name your text file, then use the empty space below to actually type in the text you wish to superimpose on your video....Save it and it will appear as and option in the Sources area. CLICK the little "eyeball" to activate or Deactivate your text. If you activate it a window will superimpose on the left PREVIEW window of OBS.....it will be big, but you can DRAG the corners to make it smaller and you can move this text to anywhere on the screen you like. You are allowed to change the text style, color, and size. Move your text box to the spot you want it on the screen.....THEN hit TRANSITION and it will appear in the Right window of OBS (what's being broadcast). NOTE you can do this same procedure to INSERT other pictures/graphics on top of your broadcast windows by repeating the steps above and use the VAST LIST OF INSERTS.... Audio Input Capture, Audio Output Capture, Browser, Other Source, Color Source, Display Capture, Game Capture, Image, Image Slide Show, Media Source, Scene, Text, Video Capture Device, and Window Capture. WOW what a list of add-ins to your videos and once setup and saved you can turn them on and off as you wish. With the SOURCES inserts you can even capture your PC WEBCAM as a source and scale size a window showing your webcam content OVER the top of the RadioBoss Video you are playing thru OBS.

New Name: RadioTvBoss smile.....it works and works well. RadioBoss is no longer just for Radio broadcasts any longer. Start your own Video podcast or TV station with all the special things that RadioBoss and the OBS (free software) can do. Like I said over the years I have used EVERY Radio Broadcast software available. Several which are MUCH more expensive than RadioBoss. My thoughts, FOR ANY PRICE, RADIOBOSS has proven to be the MOST STABLE software available today at any price. RadioBoss is worth the price if you are serious about doing online radio or tv broadcasting. RADIOBOSS, IT WORKS and WORKS WELL. As a Broadcaster, you want the BEST and NOT the most expensive software for your broadcasts. Buy RadioBoss which is the absolute best in online and even commercial broadcasting software.
