The college radio station I'm helping out at purchased RadioBoss not too long ago after trying out the demo. We've just recently run into the issue of having an error pop up and would like some assistance on it.
While running Windows Media Encoder (WME) to stream the Playlist, we also run RadioBOSS and two errors come up. The first issue is that RadioBOSS because unresponsive. Once this occurs, WME has an error pop up that says the stream has been overloaded.
System spec
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
SP3
Computer
AMD Athlon 64 Processor
3400+
2.19 GHz, 2.50 GB of Ram
The music is stored on an External 500 GB Verbatim Hard Drive but we've also had the issue after installing 1 GB worth of music directly on the computer and had RadioBOSS pull the playlist from there.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software and double checked that we had the most up-to-date RadioBoss, WME, and Windows XP software but the issue continues.
I've tried other software as a temporary replacement for the Playlist such as MediaMonkey just to play music and Zara software which does not overload the encorder, but it does not contain all the features we were interested in that made us purchase RadioBOSS.
Has anyone else encountered this issue or have suggestions to fix this issue?
