We've just launched the open beta of RadioKit Diretta, our audio contribution
client designed to work seamlessly alongside RadioBOSS.

What is RadioKit Diretta?
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
A lightweight desktop app that connects your studio or remote contributors
to a relay server via TCP, using the Opus codec (low latency) or MP3.
Think of it as the missing link between RadioBOSS and your remote guests
or correspondents.

Hello everyone,

**v1.4.1** of RadioKit Diretta is online. The main new feature is **text chat between Studio and Remote** during the live broadcast.

**What it's for**
Coordinate with your peer without having to open other apps or speak on air—like "go live in 30 seconds," "raise the volume a bit," "stop commercials."

**How it works**
1. Enter your name in the "Name" field (it's remembered).
2. Connect to the relay as usual.
3. Once your peer is also connected, type in the field below and press Enter.

Chat only works when BOTH are connected to the same room—it's designed for real-time broadcasting, not offline messaging.

If you receive a message while the app is in the background, you'll hear a notification beep.

- Mac: New .dmg coming in the next few hours (automatic build) — https://radiokit.io/download/radiokit-diretta-mac-beta.dmg

Your key still works; no need to reactivate anything.

**What to test and report here**
- Does the chat work on both ends?
- Do you hear the notification beep when the window is in the background?
- Is your name remembered after closing and reopening the app?
- Changing the language (IT/EN) during the live broadcast — does the chat work?
