Radiologger - hours to record

I use Radiologger 2.7.0.0

I would like to be able to record a show that begins at 10:00 and ends at 10:15, or one that starts at 10:30 and ends at 10:45. Or a full two hour show without being split?

So, why be required to record a full hour?
And why I must split records?

You can split records to 15 minutes.

You can split records to 15 minutes.
Funny thing is... I do :) And I'm stuck with 3 other useless files every hour.
Really, it's kind of awkward not being able to manually set the time.
And very annoying that I have to edit every file recorded to extract what I need.

RadioLogger's purpose is to record radio broadcast continuously, mostly it simply records all day, 24/7. It's not designed to record specific shows, but this feature will be included in one of the next updates.

You take only those files you need. If you use RadioBOSS and your show is very good and you want to re-broadcast it, you do not need to edit those files in any audio editor (Audition, Audacity etc., etc.). Just use TrackTool in RadioBOSS to mark Start and End of files and assign to them a file type to do not fade in and out (FadeIN - 0, Mix - 0, Fade Out - 0).

The issue comes indeed when you need a final product, without any editing...

You can try "Stream Archive" from RadioBOSS for recording at specific time you need, but without activate "Output to encoders only" at MIC. You have a button for Start/Stop Recording, and some settings.

Yes, in RadioBOSS it's also possible to automatically record shows at set times using the streamarchive on and streamarchive on commands.

I'm glad. :)
Thank you all for your attention to this matter.
