Resume network stream after silence detection

Configuration:
1. Primary audio source - Network URL stream
2. Secondary audio source - Line.In from satellite receiver
3. Scheduled local station ids, announcements, etc.

Desired automated failure correction scenario:
1. Primary source is interrupted for an indefinite time or cause , play secondary source.
2. Secondary source is interrupted for an indefinite time or cause,  play local music.
3. If Secondary source becomes available, play it.
4. If Primary source becomes available, play it.
Priority is always for Primary source to be first when available.
Either or both sources can be interrupted for a few hours.

We have tested several playlist/schedule/silence detection configurations without success.

Is there a way to detect when our primary source is available which then could activate a playlist event?

Your advice would be appreciated.

Currently that's not possible - we have plans on adding this feature in RadioBOSS 5.5.

I see this was posted and answered 6 years ago. How far into the future is this being planned? I have several radio stations that could use this program if it could interface with relay closures, not DTMF. Networks do not use DTMF or subaudable tones anymore...its all a momentary contact closure.
