Rotating songs from same artist from different folders.

First off, I have an older version of Radio Boss. 6.0.6.2

I want to insert hourly a song by an artist, featuring a hit one hour, and then other album cuts. Totally random each hour which one it triggers. I have the songs divided into two folders. Call them 'hits' and 'others'. Is there any way under this version of the software to set a percentage of time it goes to one folder or the other? I looked at using priorities, but I don't see an option to use 'folders' as a plus or minus.

Is this possible under my version or an upgrade?

I know I can do this by using multiple playlist generation during the day, but to cause a good mix I'd have to do several playlists which I'd rather avoid.

Thanks for any guidance on any way to make this happen.

I think I solved this using ratings. I'd read the instructions 20 times and it didn't sink in. I'm fixing it now and believe the problem will be relieved.

It's possible starting from RadioBOSS 7.1, in the Playlist Generator you can specify the probability for each category (and the category can be configured to use a folder).

Using the priorities (or priority based on the rating as in your case) is also a solution, but you will need to ensure that ratings are properly assigned for each track, and do not forget to assign rating when you add new music.
