Saving track tool data

So I've come across a situation where I need to move audio files (a mix of MP3 and FLAC) to a backup folder, but from what I've noticed, when I move an audio file, the "track tool" data tends to disappear upon movement. What's the best way to backup these settings and be able to copy files to a new folder?
