Hello,
I find the current features of the scheduled events great, with a lot of options - however one thing that is missing, is the ability to start a scheduled event if it was missed. If you compare this to Windows own Task Scheduler, the option is highlighted in the screenshot attached.
User case for this:
1. Scheduler is enabled, schedules running as usual - a playlist is scheduled to run at 5:00pm.
2. The 5:00pm schedule runs, and loads the playlist
3. API is used to a) disable scheduler b) switch to line.input
4. Line.input is currently playing but a schedule should run at 8:00pm to load another playlist - this does not happen as scheduler is disabled.
5. API is used to enable scheduler again and at this point, the 'desired' behaviour would be to somehow get back to the schedule which should of happened if line.input was not playing and the scheduler was enabled.
I hope this makes sense and you can see the use for this
Essentially being able to switch from the normal schedule to a line input, then back to the schedule again picking up where it should be.
Thanks
