Is there any reason why the search limit of 1000 cannot be increased, say, to the maximum size of a library?

The reason for this limit is to make it work faster and consume less memory. I think we'll add an option to control this.

I set it to 10,000 with no noticeable degradation!

The limit looks to be coming from the past versions, now it's very well optimized and handling many items is not an issue.
