SEARCH does not perform the search

I am having problems performing a "SEARCH" search

I use my musics in a folder with a lot of songs on Google Drive.

When I try to search in "SEARCH" and choose to search in the root of the Google Drive folder (which contains more than 10 thousand songs), it does not return any results, as if it could not perform the search in such a large number of folders on Google Drive.

However, when I try to search in a single music folder (which contains few songs), "SEARCH" performs the search normally and displays the songs with the search term.

What could be preventing "SEARCH" from searching in folders with a large number of audios/songs on Google Drive?

Looks like the search is happening, but it takes more time to load the tracks (maybe Google application slows it down). It would be a good idea to create a library based on the folder, search in there would be instant: https://manual.djsoft.net/radioboss/en/creating_a_music_library.htm

If folder contents change often, you can schedule an automatic library update via the Tools menu.

I noticed that the search only works in folders with few files/songs.

When the folder has many files/songs, SEARCH cannot search the entire folder.

I tested it in folders on Google Drive and also on my computer's SSD and the same thing happened.

Djsoft could check this situation, since the search is a very important tool for radio stations to perform live programs.

How many files do you have in a folder? We tested it to 20k files and it worked well. Still, with many files, it's way better to use the Music Library. Reading large folder will take a lot of time. Even with fast computer and SSD loading 1k tracks takes about 1 second, for e.g. 50k track it will be about a minute.

I did two tests. The first test was with our entire music collection, on an SSD, which contains 235 thousand songs.

In the second test, I selected a folder from our music collection that contains 16 thousand songs.

The same thing happens in both tests. The search starts and stops at 570 tracks.

I've tried using the RadioBoss music library, but it's not as efficient or practical for us as SEARCH.

We are a small FM radio station, and we have several announcers using the program in turn, each at their own time.
