Sound drops out for 2 seconds

I have noticed that the sound will drop out for approximately 2 seconds and then come back within the program. Not sure why. Any ideas?

Do you use any external DSP plugins?

That was the issue! Someone had enable a trial dsp and forget to disable it. Thanks!!
