stream input Radiocaster

Hello everyone,

I'm new here on the forum and i hope you can get me some advise.
I have some troubles with the stream input of radiocaster. When i use a stream input in radiocaster it looses connection after some time. I use stereotool also for fm purposes and that connection is much more stable and don't loose connection. I know stereo tool works with input of VLC. Is it possible to change a file in the folder of radiocaster, so the stream input of radiocaster plays also with VLC input?

RadioCaster does not support VLC input. Also, we have never see it losing stream connection - anyway, even in case when the connection is lost, it will reconnect automatically. Please make sure you use the latest RadioCaster.

Hello,

I have tested it today, but when the internet is gone and the server reconnect to the internet the stream player didn't reconnect (in radiocaster, so it stays quiet). In stereo tool (what i also use to feed the FM transmitter) the built in stream player reconnect and the audio plays again.

I hope you can help with this. It would be great is the player reconnect himself.

There's no player in RadioCaster, it uses stream as a source and auto-reconnect when needed. Please make sure you use the latest RadioCaster version.
