Folder Library Refresh
« on: November 27, 2019, 11:52:23 AM »
Today I worked to a Library.
I loaded a folder and processed every track:
  • Intro/Outro
  • Complete Tag fields
In many casses I renamed file before other operations.

I've seen that a refresh button (or command) for Library it is very usefull.

So for loaded folder in Library is it possible to add a refresh button (reload content of the folder again)?

You can add the folder again to the music library, it will add new files from the folder to the library. If your library only built from one folder, then it would be easier to clear the library and then add the folder.

I do this all the time, but is not productive.

The most productive way is to build the library automatically using the makelibrary command. Use the Tools->Schedule automatic library update menu command to create an event with this command. You can also make it process tracks: trim silence, detect mix points, scan for BPM etc.

Manually, you can do it like this:
- clear the library: Ctrl+A, Delete
- add folder
- Tools->Process tracks (if needed).
