No Drag'n'Drop from Explorer to playlist possible

Hi all,

i have version 6.0.6.2 - standard and i can't move a song with drag'n'drop from the explorer to the playlist.

The playlist is active, there are 48 Songs in the playlist.

How can i solve this problem?

It could be that Windows or antivirus blocks the operation for some reason. You can try restarting RadioBOSS or the computer to see if it helps.
 
Can you please specify from where you drag the files, is it the Explorer integrated into RadioBOSS or it's Windows Explorer?
 
It is the Standard Windows Explorer... before the Update it was possible and by all my colleagues it is possible too... is there any setting in the RB?

There is no option to control it, this feature is always on. testing it here, the files or folders are added to the playlist when dragged from Windows Explorer. Honestly, I'm not sure why it doesn't work for you. One of the possible reasons is that antivirus or any other sort or protection software blocks this operation.
 
I handle my own AV so never had this issue before. I have also never used a playlist because if I need music I simply purchase and download. Still cant go to my DL folder and drag the requested track to playlist.
This latest update has broken the ability to do this.
I may have to revert back so I can use this feature again.

We can't reproduce the issue here, drag-n-drop works properly. In some older versions, you can drag to any place in RadioBOSS window, starting with v5 you need to drag onto the playlist.
 
I also had this problem and could solve it.
I have specified the radioboss.exe that this should always be executed as an administrator.
After a restart of Windows, the problem was solved
 
RadioBOSS doesn't need admin rights for drag-n-drop to work, it works with the user rights. The root cause can be some other software that prevents it from working. We test it on fresh Windows installations and have never seen any problems with drag-n-drop.
 
I've tried different solutions. New and fresh install, Admin-Rights, no effect. The problem is still there.

But I found an interim solution (it is not a good one) but it shows that the problem is not with drag'n'drop but with RadioBoss or the playlist.

I can drag and drop the songs into a cart wall and from there into the playlist!

Can someone explain why it doesn't go straight to the playlist?
