Split audio

Hi there! Is it possible to split audio on the system as in playing different sweepers of identical length to different encoders? We plan on having an item in the playlist which will broadcast a sweeper that says "live across London" to our London feed and "across the UK" to our National feed. Is this possible? thank you

This is only possible if you install multiple RadioBOSS instances, one "master", and the other two will receive audio from "master" (e.g. via line input/virtual audio cards) and then insert appropriate imaging.

Describing the general idea:

First you need to install RadioBOSS multiple times: https://www.djsoft.net/enu/radioboss_multiple_stations.htm

Then decide what instance does what (one "master", others take audio from master inserting appropriate imaging). Configure virtual sound cards: https://manual.djsoft.net/radioboss/en/virtual_sound_cards.htm

Make "master" copy to play on a virtual device (configure its main sound card): https://manual.djsoft.net/radioboss/en/playback.htm

On "slave" installations make them receive this sound via linear input (select the same virtual audio device): https://manual.djsoft.net/radioboss/en/working_with_linear_input.htm
Basically, you add linear input to the playlist, and set it to repeat.

Also on "slave" installations, configure appropriate scheduled events to run jingles etc.

Oh I see! But how would I play the London imaging and National imaging at the same time if they are on different instances?

I have tried this out and it does work but is it possible to do this in one instance rather than having three separate instances running at the same time? For convenience I think that would be a little easier, but no worries if not

It's not possible from within one instance as you need to have different audio content.
