Since version 7.2, I have been experiencing frequent, irregular disconnections from our IceCast 2 server, accompanied by this log entry:
Server connection closed (output 1) Restarting...
Connected to server! (output 1)
My listeners get dropped from the stream and have to reconnect to the radio or rely on their player's auto-reconnect feature. This did not happen prior to this version.
I have since installed version 7.2.4.0, but the problem persists; this applies to the X32 versions as well.
The IceCast 2 server has TLS/SSL support enabled—a setting I had already activated before the problematic version without ever encountering connection issues.
As mentioned, the timing of these interruptions varies wildly; sometimes it happens just two minutes into my broadcast, other times not until 13 hours later.
Do you have any advice, or should I send over any reports for review?
All necessary ports for the SSL connection are open on the relevant firewalls and routers, so they shouldn't be causing these issues.

I don't think RadioBOSS 7.2 is "problematic" if we're considering streaming. It's very likely the problem is server side, either the server performing disconnect for some reason or a network problem.
If you stream with RadioBOSS Cloud, you can switch to using the Zerocast server instead, it's much more stable than Icecast while fully compatible with it. If you stream with other hosting provider, you should check the logs maybe Icecast just crashes there, leading to those disconnects (we did see occasional Icecast crashes, that was one of the reasons to develop Zerocast server).
