"Remote Control exception: Error in parsing command

Hello,

I'm occasionally getting the following error in RadioBOSS:

Remote Control exception: Error in parsing command.

The error occurs intermittently, and so far I haven't been able to identify what triggers it.

I'm using RadioBOSS 7.2.2.0 on Windows.

I also use the RadioBOSS remote control/API functionality for external integrations and monitoring.

Could you please clarify:

  1. What exactly does this error message indicate?
  2. Can it be triggered by an incorrectly formatted or unsupported API command?
  3. Is there a way to identify which command or remote connection caused the error?
  4. Is there any additional logging or debugging option that would help track down the source?
The error is not constant, which makes it difficult to reproduce.

Any advice on how to identify the cause would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

It comes from the server (that handles API requests) and it's about malformed input being sent to it.

Can it be triggered by an incorrectly formatted or unsupported API command?
Most likely due to broken request e.g. incorrect HTTP headers or using TLS when it's not enabled in RadioBOSS.
Incorrect commands will return a valid response telling the command is invalid.

I think you should logs what commands your script/software sends, to understand which one of those triggers the error.
