We can't control how Windows sliders work. But they usually work as you can control volume for each application and for each sound card. The next RadioBOSS version will have separate volume controls.

This can be the cause as it's registering a mouse leave event. In this case, I suggest keeping the mouse in the playlist area while dragging. And also if you need to move tracks further into the playlist, it may be easier to cut-paste them instead of doing a lengthy dragging.
