Adverts in stop mode

I was wondering if there would be an option to run ads even in stop mode... But they queue up at the top of the Playlist.

Here is why. We have talk shows and we don't play beds. When ads come, they just automatically play and they interrupt, if I check do not action this event...it just skips them in stop mode.
Is there a solution to this?

It seems that you enable the Manual mode, so the events won't run. Currently there's no way to start them after the talk show is over. We're working on a new feature that will show a queue of the events that were supposed to run, with ability to start them.

Dmitry, I am not sure if this can be done yet, and it's a variation on what you may have suggested above:

Scheduler ON but not in manual mode; playlist stop after current track enabled; adverts/promos loaded to playlist at scheduled times but (deliberately) do not immediately play (i.e. they queue in the playlist). This gives the presenter the option to play next, once they have completed their voice break. This feature would be of great value during live programming as it visually alerts the presenter (flashing event) to "must play when ready" events such as ads or station IDs during live programs, but gives them the option to skip them if inconvenient.

Also, how does one make scheduled ads appear in the playlist with a different coloured background - where is this selected?

This is now possible with the latest beta... You should check it out.

For advert colors you have to create file types and specify icons and colors
In my case I use a container so I specify that from the advert scheduler settings

Starting with RadioBOSS 7.2, Manual works a bit differently, it queues the events that were supposed to start in a special list, from where they can be started by the presenter. I think this feature will help you and you can enable the Manual mode.

Playlist items are colored according to Style settings and colors selected for File Types. If scheduled items are colored, you will use the file type colors. There's a column in the playlist called Event Name - you can use it to see from where the tracks came from.
