Automating ad scheduling and studio synchronization

Hello,

I’d love your advice on two topics:
  1. Is it possible to import XML logs from an advertising agency into RadioBOSS, in order to map the data (time, duration, audio file, etc.) and automate ad scheduling within the playlist ?
  2. What would be the most effective solution to synchronize three studios together? The goal is to trigger ads by zone, then return to the same music stream for all studios at the exact same time after the ad break.
Thanks in advance for your insights and suggestions !

RadioBOSS supports m3u playlists that you can import. Importing of the arbitrary XML files is not supported.

If they are on the same network, or there is network access, you can have a setup e.g.
  1. Master RadioBOSS that streams the music. Depending on the network setup, via internal server or use some other server that other computers will be able to access (to pull the stream from).
  2. A number of secondary RadioBOSS installations for each studio:
    1. Add master stream to the playlist (Playlsit->Add URL) and enable the "Repeat playlist" option and start playing it.
    2. Have ads events scheduled to play the ads when needed (preferred setup is to have them as Overlay playback and mute the main playlist).
