Best Soundcard for RadioBoss

Hi!

Have now work any days with RadioBoss on my Laptop, and i found RadioBoss GREAT

Now I would like to use my "old" PC (AMD DuoCore 4.2GHz, 4GB Ram, Windows XP pro,...) only for send/stream in my basement studio
I use also an external analog mixer.

Now, to me is the question, does it make a difference, what sound card i use?
I have the following sound cards to choose:
Terratec Aureon 5.1 PCI
Terratec Aureon Universe 7.1
Soundblaster Live SB0220
Soundblaster Audacity SB0090

Read whatever of Asio drivers? Also in the settings of RadioBOSS.
Makes this a difference?

But my question would be:
Which of my possible sound cards is the best for RadioBOSS?

Hi, I'm glad you liked RadioBOSS!

RadioBOSS will work with any sound card if it supports ASIO or DirectSound - most sound cards do. All cards you listed are fine, you can choose any of those. But AFAIK no one of them has ASIO support.

ASIO is a low-latency system, if you don't care about latency you probably don't need it.

For SoundBlaster cards I'd advice you to install the latest drivers from their web site, older drivers can cause problems - other users reported it before.
