computer hangs/lockups

I have a Windows Pentium 4 CPU 3.06 GHZ with 2.0 GB of RAM running Windows XP.

I have an automated playlist running in RB, and after 4-6 hours, the machine locks up and stops
streaming, and cannot be unlocked without unplugging and rebooting.

What might he problem/solution be?

NOTE: Playback buffer set to 500ms on all cards and no other processes/programs are running on this machine as it is a dedicated machine just for RB....

RadioBOSS works in user mode and it can not lock up the machine.

It can be a hardware or driver issue. You can try updating drivers, at least sound card driver. Check Windows Logs (Control Panel-Administrative Tools-Events), maybe there would be an entry saying why lockup occured.

You mentioned that machine is dedicated for RB, but are there any antivirus software programs installed?
