Hello, I was attempting to set up my mic and i keep hearing my voice with a slight delay, how can I fix this?
Also after trying different things, I now get an error message "floating point division by zero." when I click on the MIC icon.
Please help!

Hello!

What have you changed to get that floating point error?

You also can check out the latest beta version with improved MIC support (if you're using Windows Vista, 7 or have an ASIO card): http://www.djsoft.net/smf/index.php/topic,887.0.html

I changed many things but all in the MIC setup window not sure what caused it, do you know what it means?, I am running XP
Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks

This may happen because of an error in sound card driver. To make it simple, you can try reinstalling RadioBOSS to a different folder. This will reset all settings.
Then, in the RadioBOSS settings:
1) in Playback section, set the buffer size to around 40ms (0.04 sec)
2) in Microphone/LineIn section set "Prebuffer" to 0.02 sec and select the correct device/source

You can lower the buffer/prebuf settings until sound becomes corrupted. Doing this you will achieve the minimum latency.

But, it's still recommended to use sound card which supports ASIO API - this will allow to get minimum possible latency.

Ok so latency meaning delay right? because now everything is working ok but there is still a split second relay that really annoys when u talk, so I need to replace my sound card correct?
Thank you

Yes, latency is delay. To get rid of it you need to either:
- Replace your sound card to one with ASIO support, or
- Install Windows 7 or Vista and use WASAPI
