Feature request: Disable seeking while On Air

Hello,

I would like to suggest a safety option for RadioBOSS.

Currently, while a track is playing in the On Air player, it is possible to change the playback position by right-clicking/seeking in the track.

For a live radio station, especially when RadioBOSS is running on a VPS via Remote Desktop, this can be risky because an accidental click could suddenly jump to another position in the song while it is on air.

It would be very useful to have an option such as:

“Disable seeking while On Air”

or

“Lock playback position while broadcasting”

This should disable mouse and keyboard seeking for the currently playing track, while keeping normal playback controls available.

Thank you!

You can create a UAC user with limited rights to prevent any accidental changes. Because apart from seeking, there are lots of other places where clicks can disrupt the operation.

Thank you for the suggestion.

I understand that a limited UAC user could prevent accidental changes, but my request is specifically about disabling seeking on the progress bar only.

I would still like to use all other RadioBOSS functions normally, just without the risk of accidentally jumping forward or backward in the currently playing track.

So a simple option such as “Disable seeking on progress bar” would be ideal.

Right click on a Now Playing bar doesn't seem a thing that can happen a lot: there are no other UI controls near it that require right clicking, and right click itself is a lot less typical than left click.

"Preventing" this doesn't seem like a useful feature, I'm sorry.
