Files Left Open By RadioBoss?

Hello,
We have been using RadioBoss for a few months and it is generally working very well. We use a set of powershell script to setup daily playlists. These playlists are started by scheduled events in RadioBoss. We have a problem that sometimes files are left open within RadioBoss, even after succeeding events. In that case, the file can not be deleted until RadioBoss is restarted. For example, I used Task Manager's Process Explorer in Windows 10, to see the files open in RadioBoss. The attached screenshot shows a file called Prelude #45 .... .wav which could not be deleted until RadioBoss.exe terminated. This may only be a problem when my delete script runs on another networked PC. Any suggestions on closing these old media files?

Thanks

Playlist files are only read and do not stay open. Music files stay open while they play. Also, music files can be open if a track is about to start (because of Preloading feature).

Did this file play at the moment? All files that finished playing, are closed by RadioBOSS of course.

Thanks for your reply. The Prelude #45 example that I gave above had certainly been played many hours beforehand. Note that its playlist might not have completed as the event scheduler probably started an Arts Diary playlist a few minutes before the end of the Prelude slot finished. Could the file be left open in this case? In any case, I've moved the powershell script, which was deleting these .wav files, to the PC actually running RadioBoss. Beforehand it was running on a networked PC and trying to delete a file on a mapped drive. After this move, the problem has not reoccurred, but its only been tested a couple of times so far.
