Listeners reports

Hello, I appreciate your help in advance. I've been analyzing the reports that Radio Boss Cloud offers but can you please explain what the information under “Listeners” means, because I see that the information on the platform online and the reports that I download as PDF does not match.
I understand that "Unique listeners" refers to the number of distinct individuals who have listened to a track during a specific time frame, counting each listener only once. I guess that the item named “Sessions” refers to the number of interactions, for example only one unique listener had two interactions.
I’m confused because for example, if I want to see how many “Unique listeners” I had from July 1st until the 31st on the platform it says that I had 491 but if I download the report, I see 6971 “Listeners”.

Yes, this is correct. Basically, both those metrics calculate the number of connections made to the server during the specified time period.

if I download the report, I see 6971 “Listeners”.

"Listeners" metric in the downloadable reports shows how many listeners were connected to the server when a music track was started.
