Mouse Operation vs Function Keys

Dmitry,

Last weekend I went to an "Introduction to Radio" course presented by AFTRS (Australian Film, TV and Radio School).  It was brilliant and we covered some very interesting stuff and achieved things that we thought we were incapable of.

At the course we operated the studio mixer desk pretty well in manual mode but used a PC system to store the 4 music tracks for our demo presentation program.  The interesting thing I found at the course was that we NEVER used the PC mouse - but used the keyboard function keys instead (F1, F2, F3, F4, F5 etc.)  To my surprise this was a good move in a busy studio environment.

So, have you considered assigning the Function keys to certain button functions in RadioBOSS ?

I did a live program at Radio Dungog last night with live announcements between each song, and live timecalls, and live weather reports and I found it very hard work using the mouse and having to do the panel operator functions on our studio mixer console.

I've got a feeling that what we did in the weekend with the Function keys was much simpler.

Thanks, Jamie C.

There are hot keys in RadioBOSS for some features, eg. playback control, tabs switching and so on.
You can change hot keys from the menu: Settings->Hot Keys.

If you miss hot keys in any area, let me know and those will be added in RadioBOSS 4.9.
