I have been informed by a couple of our presenters that before we updated to the latest radioBoss, we used to get the total mumber of tracks in a library but now it only shows "1000+ Tracks".
Is this a setting that can be changed or something to do with the update?
Yes, you can change it in the Settings window, General section, click Advanced settings, in the UI section change "Search - maximum number of results" to 0.
