Playback bed does not fade within File Types

Hello -

The "Use bed for playback" option does not fade out when music is overlapped within the File Type settings. It seems to work fine under voice tracking under the fading settings, however some file types we treat as voice tracks have no music bed, so having that set on each file type works best.

Thanks.

Can you please provide more details on how you have it configured? Please also specify your RadioBOSS version.

Pictures both attached. The current fading under voice tracking works fine and fades out the bed once music starts. The one under the file types overlaps the bed with the intro's to songs. We are currently running 5.6.0.2 beta. This was an issue in 5.5.5.0 as well.

When a file type is treated as "voice track" it will ignore/overwrite some of the file type's crossfade settings. It will remove the fades - so I suppose that's why you experience the problem.

Can this be fixed in future updates? Either within the current cross-fade settings or an additional spot to set cross-fades for file types treated as voice tracks?

I don't think this will be changed. The voice tracks are processed in a different way (they also have their own fading settings that you can change in Settings->Playback->Fading), as described here: http://manual.djsoft.net/radioboss/en/voice_tracking.htm

A sort of workaround would be to copy those tracks to a different folder, and set up another file type without "Treat as voice track" option so that voice tracking will not interfere with fading.
