RadioBOSS with TASCAM US42b

Hi everyone!

Kinda new to this, so please bear with me and don't roll your eyes TOO hard if I'm saying something stupid!

I'm creating a sports play-by-play setup with RadioBOSS (v. 5-5) and a TASCAM US42b USB audio interface. I've got it working well but I have one question: I'm trying to get the audio from the US42b sound pads to appear in the RadioBOSS green "On Air" box with the RadioBOSS mic switch OFF. (It shows up with the mic switch ON, but not OFF.) I realize I could play audio from the playlists in RadioBOSS but the US42b sound pads would save me an extra step and avoid using a mouse.

It's quite possible this cannot be done but I thought I'd ask.

I've enclosed some screen shots, which hopefully will allow a better understanding of my issue.

Many, many thanks in advance!

Many, many thanks for your help!
Would these settings be correct? If so, I'm getting a nasty echo through the headset mic, and while the sound pads initially came through with the mic switch off (don't seem to know), the file was also victim to echo.
Again, I'm as raw a rookie as possible -- and thanks again!

From the screenshot, looks like you're playing the line input from both the main playlist and AUX playlist - this is why it's echoing. You should stop one of those.

I'm obviously doing something wrong -- newbie woes. Here is my setup (US42b is hooked into the laptop but still not getting audio from the sound pads into RadioBOSS, either with mic switch on or off).

I really appreciate your help with this!

It seems to be working previously (where you did have an echo) - what changed? One possibility is that you have muted the sound on the mixer or somewhere else.
