For now I'll "kill" my frustration, I will uninstall RadioLogger and I will re-install mp3mymp3 becouse we must have a valid recorder.

mp3mymp3 works and that's a fact, RL doesn't...

Hope that until next week RL will be fixed.

It doesn't works in Laptop too.
I do not think that it is a coincidence.

It could be a coincidence eg. you can have some software installed on both machines which conflicts with RL.

RL was checked on various configs and OS'es, I just tested it myself and it works totally fine. Version 2.3 was published half a year ago and no one complained that it doesn't record. So I assure you it's something wrong on your PC's. Recording is the main feature of this program and there's no way we could publish a program which simply doesn't work.

Please do the following: install RL to a different folder, leave all settings as they are by default, just change the device. Do not change anything else.

Also check radologger's message log at the bottom, are there any errors?

No offence. I reinstalled mp3mymp3. Works brilliant.
See image. Maybe next week you'll fix it.

I am not sorry for money paid for RL, but I do not like when it does not working.

My co-workers said that I am a looser :(

There's nothing to fix because it works. I can issue you a refund. Probably it's some soft of incompatibility or something. But it's extremely rare because there were no other reports like this from other users nor testers could confirm this error. I checked it myself on 2 PC's and it works.

I'm sorry if it doesn't work for you...

For me desn't work on two PC's. That's statistics. So RL not good for us (very sory about that).
You extended licence for RadioBOSS and I am very happy, so no refund. I will return money to my cheef from my money, don't worry.

The problem is that mp3mymp3 works in the same conditions on both PC's but RL doesn't. That's another good point. You can check...

Look the list of softs installed on PC in image

Maybe that help you to fix problem.
In my Laptop RadioBOSS can save Line.IN file with Stream Archive. It works!!!

How RB works and RL doesn't?

All right. As you wish.

Please check your e-mail - maybe we'll find out what's wrong.

I know now why RadioLogger did not record any sound in my Laptop and Desktop. That was becouse I changed the string order in Settings -> Filename...

That have to be changed.

So! It was not my mistake that RL did not work.

I need fix for Settings -> Filename... . I want to change standard string in this

%d.%m.%y-%hh:%mm:%ss = 19.01.2013-09:05:36

Thanks a lot!

SECOND PROBLEM

RL duplicates files (see image)

Filename like this is not possible. Colon (:) is not allowed by Windows to be used in the file name. You can try renaming the file and it will tell you that. Also you can't use the following characters: / \ * | < >
Those are reserved by system.

We'll check it.

The problem is that RL does not have a module to verify what type of character is inserted.  If there is not any warning about type of permited character user understand that it's ok to insert any character. I inserted prohibited character and RL accepted.

Probably you misconfigured it. Eg. set too low or too high bitrate, incorrect file name or folder path... It worked, so why change settings?

Becouse RL permit that, that's why.

In mp3mymp3 I can select any bitrate I want and no error. I can rename the file as I want and no error. I can select the path and no error.

It is so easy to work with mp3mymp3. Why RL is so complicated? Why it permit to make a configuration wich doesn't work anymore? That I do not understand. I'll work with RL after a serious upgrade. Welcome back mp3mymp3. That's the situation.

For me closed topic until new better version of RL.

OK. The next release will be more strict in this regard :) Thanks for pointing out this problem.

You can't have a colon (:) in a file name no matter what software are you using. Windows doesn't allow that.

I wouldn't say it's complicated. It's just settings which are not carefully checked.

A new version will be out soon.
