What about new version? I am waiting for it (a professional one). I like when djsoft team makes/creates professional software like RadioBOSS wich is a masterpiece.

couldn't we have the option to name the recording according to the radio station schedule we are trying to record than just the date and time stamp
This is not planned yet... RadioLogger is not connected with RB so it doesn't "know" what schedule is playing.
The next version will be able to record network streams, and probably it will include stream title in the file name.

I don't know yet, within a month I think.

not expecting it to connect to RB but just be able to name the file anything you want to name it. also be able to record a particular show if it for 30 mins and then maybe the next show is for an hour.

RL is designed for automatic unattended recording.
I suppose you need a button like "RECORD", when you press it, it asks for a file name and duration and starts recording?

I made my settings and RL works great now.

yes thats an idea too would work too.
however lets says when you click to when a particular time to record automatically could there be a pop up asking to use the default naming convention or name the recording for that session instead of the current date, time and during. lets say you want to name one eg. action hour and another action hour part 2

This doesn't fit in the concept of RadioLogger. Its purpose is to automatically record selected hours, totally unattended.

Probably it will be better to create a separate utility to record shows. What do you think?

Is it possible to record in the same time Playback device (speakers) and recording device (linein)? As a feature request?  ;)

As feature request too:

I would like to have an option to delete Archive content (1. multiple selection and 2. select all) without delete files from Disk.

Just install it two times to different folders - each instance will record its own input.

OK, I don't promise anything but probably this feature will be added.

i was thinking and maybe i didn't explain myself properly. lets say when you click to activate the timeline you want to record. would it be possible to have an option to name that particular time line instead of having the logger auto name it according to the date and time format. i could give it a name so going forward it would record with that name. i hope this explains it.

I think this is possible if I understand your request. See in image.
To name files for three different segment: 00:00 - 08:00 (night), 09:00 - 16:00 (day), 17:00 - 24:00 (evening) timeline with different name, install RL three times in different folders and set them to record different timeline etc., etc.

But what if you want five or six different timeline ?
It's too complicate without an included special set of settings.

Very good.
I think there's a potential problem when "split records" is set to 30 minutes, as you posted before - it could produce duplicate files. We'll check in this issue.

RadioLogger works great too. That's another special tool for us. Nobody knows that RL is installed in PC and works. Almost no resource consuming. We also use it sometimes as web recorder, becouse there is no free software to do that.  :)
