RØDECaster Pro II unter RadioBOSS 7.5.1 – Sendeflussprobleme & Advanced-Vergleich

Hallo zusammen, ich arbeite mit dem RØDECaster Pro II und versuche, unter RadioBOSS 7.5.1 eine stabile Sendefluss-Konfiguration zu erreichen. In der Standardversion stoße ich auf wiederkehrende Fehler beim Encoderstart („Error -1“, „Audio Device Error“), obwohl das Gerät korrekt eingebunden ist und als Wiedergabequelle gesetzt wurde.

Meine Fragen dazu:

1. Gibt es bekannte Einschränkungen in der Standardversion von 7.5.1 , die den Betrieb mit dem RØDECaster Pro II behindern (z. B. WASAPI/ASIO, Multitrack-Unterstützung)?
2. Unterscheidet sich das Verhalten in der Advanced-Testversion spürbar – z. B. bei der Auswahl von Audioquellen, Encoderstart oder Treiberzugriff?
3. Ist es grundsätzlich möglich, mit der Standardversion 7.5.1 einen lauffähigen Sendefluss mit dem RØDECaster Pro II zu erreichen – und wenn ja, wie genau?

Ich freue mich über konkrete Hinweise, Routinen oder Erfahrungen – gerne auch mit Fokus auf ASIO vs. WASAPI, Routing und Encoderverhalten.

I’m currently testing RadioBOSS 7.5.1 in combination with the RØDECaster Pro II and encountering persistent encoder errors (e.g. Error -1, Audio Device Error) unless the device is correctly initialized and reset.

I would like to clarify the following points:

1. Are there any known limitations in the standard version of 7.5.1 that affect compatibility with the RØDECaster Pro II (e.g. WASAPI/ASIO support, multitrack handling)?

2. Are certain features only available in the advanced test version (e.g. audio source selection, encoder driver options, driver type configuration)?

3. Is it generally possible to achieve a stable broadcast setup with the standard version 7.5.1 and the RØDECaster Pro II – and if so,

RadioBOSS does not with a specific device, so there are no limitations or any additional requirements. If the device supports standard driver interfaces (WASAPI, ASIO, etc.) then it will work with RadioBOSS. If it doesn't then probably the device needs to be further configured using its control panel.

2. Are certain features only available in the advanced test version (e.g. audio source selection, encoder driver options, driver type configuration)?

In terms of working with the audio devices, all editions are the same.

3. Is it generally possible to achieve a stable broadcast setup with the standard version 7.5.1 and the RØDECaster Pro II – and if so,

I'm sure it's possible (any kinds of problems are extremely rare case) - and this is how it should work by default. Some devices do require additional configuration, e.g. most ASIO devices require channels to be configured, the RØDECaster you use probably also has a control panel or other configuration software that you should use.
