Ok. Thanks
Got it, in terms of risk of setting duration.
I think the reason i have been thinking duration is - I understood tracklist just plays one track, so how to 'push' the other content back, so keep playing from the folder for an hour.
But I guess if it replaced the playlist and that is all that was in there...
Sounds like it is much simpler. My understanding now, is that...
...for the OP's question...(hour long music 'tracklist')
1- Set the HOUR-LIST Event, with tracklist or playlist with embedded tracklist(s) to -- >
REPLACE Playlist, so it clears all other content from playout, leaving just your trackist(s) there, when it comes.
-- Making sure there is enough conent in the folder(s) to play for an hour or more.
-- Making sure PlayOut (Overview Playlist) is NOT set to Delete tracks (tick OFF so it repeats)
-- no need to set duration (just new event hour later)
So then that single - or multiple tracklist(s) in the PlayOut (Overview Playlist) should keep picking from any tracklist folders, until it is told to do something else. (OR is not confused/clogged by too harsh repeat rules)
2- Start something after an hour (maybe let the new event allow the track to finish or not) to End the hour long tracklist. And refills the PlayOut (Overview Playlist) with content.
Hope that is so, and answers the OPs question.
Certainly clarified things for me.
Thanks
