Segue Editor - Doesn't work well

There is a problem.
First of all what mean "Use for current session only".
  • Means only for current playlist?
  • Or only until RadioBOSS is closed. After open Segue Editor (2 or 3) reset.
Is there a way to reset SE for a specific playlist or/and session ?
This option is usefull for automated operation.

-------------------

When I used SE3 and start in playlist that section of three tracks RadioBOSS started the same track twice almost in the same time (a short delay between).

Ohohooo

I think that is a huge BUG in SE.
I deactivated (unchecked) "Use for current session only" and RadioBOSS didn't play those tracks.
It's behaviour is like the tracks do not exist in there location and RadioBOSS passed over...

If this behaviour is by design: who need it? ???
If it is not by design then there is a huge, huge BUG.

It means that custom crossfade parameters will be applied to current playlist only, not permanently saved. This is the recommended way of operation, and I think this setting will be removed in the future, so it will always operate in the "Use for current session only" mode.

It is removed when you delete tracks from the playlist.

Did you have the "Use for current session only" option enabled?

Were there any error messages?

SE3 - totally elsewhere.

Dmitriy

I think that it is necesarry to have a reset for Segue editor.

Why? Let's say that I made manually a playlist, but I didn't save it.
I made some SE3 from place to place, but things are changeing in Live studio.
So, I do not need anymore all that fades and I do not have time to make another playlist.
If I cannot reset in real time all SE fades my show will be a misery.

Agreed on that - an option to reset custom crossfades will be added in one of the next updates.
