Do you mean a tab in the work zone? If so how will it know what event to display? It may be added to the Scheduler tab (as an option), e.g. below the list, to show the selected event's contents. With items either expanded, or with buttons to quickly expand the needed items.
Yes, it would be in the work area. Sorry, I didn't specify that.
Or a preview panel. Or a separate Scheduler window that appears when you select an option…
This involves displaying AdSheduler events in the form of blocks, each of which includes:
- The name of the profile
- The scheduled departure time
- The total duration of the block
- The elements and their respective durations
There would be display options (filters): choice of day, choice of time slot, profile name, etc.
(see screenshot)
The idea is to view in detail what has been planned in the AdSheduler according to our choice of day and time slot (with a “Now” option to immediately view the blocks for the next 60 or 120 or 180 minutes for example).
Also, display the durations of each element and especially the total duration of a block.
This is important to allow me to calculate the actual hour length of the playlist when we are live.
The indication of time in the playlist does not take into account the duration of all the events that will be added to the hour as well as the duration of the DJ speak.
The purpose of this duration display would be, for me, to make it easier to calculate an hour.
Data comes from AdSheduler. The formatting proposed in the screenshot should obviously be reviewed to highlight each block.
I think we should create a window dedicated to this type of visualization.
Whether in a work area tab or in Scheduler. No matter, as long as it is easily accessible, understandable and immediately readable.
Because I may have future users of my radio who feel lost seeing a multitude of lines from the event planner.
The proposals mentioned above, as well as the filters to achieve this result, seem to me to go in the right direction. Thank you for taking our wishes into consideration and taking care of the setup.
A quick aside: I mentioned the calculation of time above and I would like to take this opportunity to confirm that the arrival of Time Stretch in version 7.1 is a great step forward in achieving almost perfect hours. But it would be necessary to set up an option to indicate the periods of operation of the Time Stretch in an hour in relation to events among others. I mentioned it during the Beta version and I maintain my point of view.
