Thanks for quietly adding this feature to 4.7.1!  Would it be possible to calibrate the output range so that it is the same as the preview feature? (that is, up to +13dB)  That extra headroom comes in handy!  Thanks.

Small changes like this are marked as "Other minor improvements and fixes" in the changelog...
Volume control extension will most likely appear in the next update.
