It looks like you do not have the codec which is required to play the video. Can you send the video which can not be played to us so we can check it?

when i launch radioboss video to play i get a full screen video i want a small screen at the top right hand corner of screen  yes i do have it set for that in setting/video

You can double-click on video window to make it non-fullscreen. Check Settings->Video - looks like you have the "Play video full screen" option enabled.
