Interesting to have an audio input indicator.
Many times we do not know if it is recording audio or not.

If you use Audio Mix, the level would be the same as displayed in the main window. If you need better options for recordings, probably RadioLogger would be a better tool: https://www.djsoft.net/enu/radiologger_description.htm
