I am getting this message very often on RadioCaster: W40 warning! title update failed
For what is this?
For what is this?

There's no problem with text files in RadioCaster. It simply reads the file contents and uses them as streaming title. To make sure the title is read correctly, please click the Status button and see that "Current track title" contains the correct title. This is what RadioCaster sends to the server as track title.Sunshare said:RadioCaster that has problems with txt files
This means that RadioCaster had sent the title to the server, but the server did not accept this title for some reason. Possible reasons are using some special characters (e.g. to make your station more prominent) or too long title or something else. The exact reason can be determined if you inspoect server logs.Sunshare said:leaves the same error very often: W40 warning! title update failed
This error is about the additional encoder, you should check the server you're streaming to why this happens. We'll add error notifications in one of the next updates.I got the same yesterday for several hours on c26 RB Cloud from a live stream connected. Do you have any advice? Thanks.
PS: should be fine if we get notifications when this happens. I work with stations that earn revenue, and it depends on metadata working.
If more than one encoder is connected, there's usually error -1, this one seems different.Probably there is more than 1 encoder sending ay the same time? I will check with my server provider. Thanks
