well, you guys still havent fixed the "play above the air" feature
The "play above air" feature is fine itself, it's just a consequence of some other bug - which we're trying to fix now.

I downlaoded the one from the download page, and left it on. I woke up and checked my pc, and what do you know, the same issue......

When will this be fixed????????
I hope it will be fixed soon. First thing we need to do is to find out what's wrong and fix it.
RadioBOSS's code is fine, it's well tested, but we use some 3rd party components and they may not work correctly...

Here's a version stripped out of some 3rd party parts... Everyone who experience crashes should try this out: http://dl.djsoft.net/radioboss_810.exe
(the file explorer is gone and http request/ftp upload won't work).

Hi DJsoft,

Just to update you, Radioboss Version 4.5.1.801 hasn't crashed since using this update. So hopefully you might have found the problem.

One thing with this version is the lame.exe crashes a few times now but it hasn't crashed radioboss or stopped output as far as i know.

Hope this helps.

The lame.exe hadn't been changed for a long time... I don't know why it may start to crash now.
How often it happens? Does RadioBOSS catch this and restart the server connection?

The Lame.exe has crashed for a few versions but it has never done it very often and it has only done it twice in the last few days.

I shall check what radioboss does the next time it crashes and let you know if radioboss restarts the server connection.

The only thing we can change with Lame is to change lame.exe version. To older or newer... I've never experienced any problems with lame.exe. You may try different versions of lame from here: http://www.rarewares.org/mp3-lame-bundle.php
If you're using 64 bit Windows, maybe it'll be better to use 64-bit version of Lame.

Regarding the crashes I'm glad it's sorted now :)

Thank you very much for all you have done to fix it. I know it took a long time but if all keeps going well then it would seem it is all fixed :)

I hope so :) Bugs like this slow down the development process.
