Track now playing feature stopped working

The sending track now playing to RADIOBOSS FM has stopped working. It sometimes pops up one now playing track, then just does nothing for the next few hours.
No changes have been made to any settings, and it was working fine until 4 days ago. How do I sort this?

radioboss FM in autoplay mode displays tracks playing correctly, but when going live from Radioboss play-out software, only a few tracks appear, sometimes none.
I have re-checked all the settings, all seem fine, and everything worked perfectly until 4 days ago as I said. Any ideas? Its the same music tracks as well as displayed correctly originally, so all the files are artist and title correct.
 
No error in the log, just a list of songs played. Metadata settings seem all ok. All I get showing in Radioboss FM is LIVE SOURCE displaying , and nothing more for the last 5 days now
 
It has shown just ONE track from the live tracks playing in the last 2 hours, so something is working, but there must be an issue somewhere

Please check the encoder settings in RadioBOSS, Metadata tab, the encoding must be set to "UTF8".
 
This is odd, I have checked it and the titles are properly sent and displayed here. What RadioBOSS version do you use? If it's an older one, I'd suggest trying a newer version.

Radioboss 5940, it has always worked perfectly until last week, so can't understand why it would suddenly fail.

Well, RadioBOSS didn't changhe, and we also didn't change anything related to this on our servers - the Icecast version and configuration are the same, as well as title processing. If you use antivirus software, maybe it was updated and doesn't let title updates pass anymore.

In the past i have received an occasional red ERROR message in the log saying unable to update title.....this is not happening, so it appears the data is being sent correctly to the server, but Radioboss FM is just not displaying it.
 
Just in case, please try using the latest RadioBOSS 6.1 - will it send the title?
Also, you say it worked before, but stopped a week ago - what did change in this week?

I can't upgrade my version of Radioboss, it says subscription expired and I can't afford to upgrade at the present time.
However, I have the old version on another PC so at the end of my live show today I will check the version on the other machine and see if that is sending metadata to Radioboss FM.
 
I have now tried Radioboss on a different PC, (and tested it connected to a different net connection as well). I am getting only intermittent track now playing updates, it is still not working properly. Absolutely no changes have been made to the installations of Radioboss, so I don't know where to go from here. It seems that a mere handful of tracks are getting shown as track now playing, despite the settings selected as either periodic updates every 60 seconds, or updates at the start of each track. I really am baffled.

The ONLY change that occured in the studio last week was that the main internet router was reset, to change a password, but the same default settings are in place on that.

I turned off the firewall and virus software as well to check if that made any difference, but nothing changes.
 
Is there anyone who can suggest what the issue may be here? I am getting the odd track playing live displaying artist and title, and then long gaps before another track shows. It has been like this for a whole week, and nothing has changed in the settings of the software. It also displays some tracks as being played TWICE, when they are not. I cannot work this out at all.

I guess not, because the software works the same now as it did before. The server part in RadioBOSS Cloud also didn't change for half a year or so. I don't know why it doesn't work for you - we don't have any complaints from other customers, and this also doesn't reproduce here.
We'll issue updates for RadioBOSS Cloud, maybe the error will go away as a result of those updates. Currently I don't have any real solution for you.
